Peacefully on Friday July 18, 2014 at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in her 91st year after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Eric William. Mum will be deeply missed by her two daughters Diane (Keith Barber) and Suzanne (Russ Burrell). Nana was also much loved by her two grandsons Kyle and Matthew and four granddogs, Neeko, Tippy, Teeny and Delilah. Irene is survived by her sister Betty (Elizabeth), brother-in-law John Brown and their family. Irene will be sadly missed by other dear family and friends.A special thanks to "her" Jenny for much caring and compassion to Mum in her final days and the staff of the O.T.M.H. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 7-9 pm Tuesday July 22nd and 10-11am Wednesday July 23rd. Funeral service will follow at 11:00am on Wednesday July 23, 2014 in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Oakville & Milton Humane Society would be appreciated.
