It is with great sadness and grief that the Jeffers family announces the passing of Irene Evelyn Jeffers on November 2, 2014 at 74 years of age. Irene was a loving wife to her late husband George, a loving mother to her sons Russ and Ian. Caring mother in law (aka Mama J) to Tina and part of the family to Horst and Helga Kreissler. Mom was also and most importantly a loving Grandma to her grandson Ryan.
Mom was a strong and courageous woman who cared deeply for her family and her values. Mom passed peacefully and unexpectedly at her home. Mom was doing what she loved most at the time and that was preparing to entertain a family get together.
The family would like to invite all that knew her to a peaceful remembrance of her life on November 9, 2014 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home at 64 Lakeshore Drive West, Oakville, Ontario.
Visitation will be from 11 am until 1 pm, where a service to commemorate her life will commence at 1 pm.
