Died peacefully in her sleep on August 2 ,2018.

Born November 6, 1939 in Montreal , Irene moved to the Oakville area in 1998 to be closer to family, which was the joy of her life. She is predeceased by parents Florence Martineau and Adolph Biborosch, husband Ed Lebel and grandson Tyler . She is survived by sisters Jean (Wes Bresee), Beverly ( Clete Cotnam), her daughter Lynne Pheeney ( Jeff Sloan ) , grandchildren Lara ( Jeff Myers) , Samantha & Aundrea , and great grandson Jaxon . Auntie Irene is lovingly remembered by Karl  & Birgit Bresee ( Enya, Kwyn, Rhys), Erica & Michel Mc Comeau  ( Alexis & Aurora) .

A memorial service will be held at Saint Dominic Parish, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville, Ontario on Tuesday August 7 at 10 am, to be followed by a celebration of life luncheon  at El Spero Restaurant 2420 Lakeshore Road W. Oakville
