Passed away peacefully on July 10, 2013 in Oakville at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Stan Petch, loving mother to Christine and Katherine (Jeff). Devoted Omi to Luke and Bridgitte. Born in Vienna, Austria, Ingrid immigrated to Canada in the early sixties and lived in both Toronto and Montreal, before settling in Oakville 15 years ago. Her career as a travel consultant spanned over 40 years and sustained her love of travel. An avid hiker, tennis player and bridge enthusiast, one of her greatest personal achievements was completing the 885km end-to-end Bruce Trail in 2009 over the span of a few years with her hiking club. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation to be held on July 16th at 10-11 am at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd West, Oakville, (one block east of Kerr St., 905-844-2600) followed by a service and reception.
