Born in Stockholm Sweden 1940-2023

Ingegerd passed away peacefully on Thursday Dec 28th at home in Burlington, Ontario at the age of 83. She was predeceased by Leif, her loving husband and soul mate of 62 years.

Ingegerd embraced the joy of life through cherished moments with family and friends.  She had a passion for singing and dancing, leaving lasting memories through her participation in Swedish Christmas festivals. Her go-to response about her day was always "EXCELLENT!"—especially when she could enjoy the sun and outdoors which was her favourite thing to do.

She was a much-loved mother of Mikael (Edit), Katarina (Mark Kelln) and Marianne (Todd Raleigh). Her seven grandchildren Brandon, Mikaela, Cassandra, Evan, Mitchell, Karin and Lilly, brought so much joy to her life.

In addition to her family, Ingegerd held a very special place in her heart for Joe Felicetti, of Burlington, Ontario

Family meant the world to Ingegerd, and she never missed an opportunity to show her love, no matter the occasion.

There will be no funeral service but a drop-in reception for family and close friends, held at Chartwell CHRISTOPHER TERRACE Retirement Residence, at 3131 New Street, Burlington, Ontario L7N3P8 on Sunday January 7th from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm.
