Ian Charles SHEPHERD

January 23, 1938 – September 4, 2021

Ian passed away peacefully with his family at Ian Anderson House on September 4 ^th , 2021 in his 84 ^th year.

Ian was husband to Nancy of 62 years, and father to Michael (Nancy), Susan (Guy) and David and Grandpa to Nicole Shepherd, Sonia, Brodie and Madison Postma.

Ian is survived by his sister Doreen (Robert) Dunne and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Muriel Johnson.

Ian was a lifelong resident of Oakville, a Captain with the Oakville Fire Department, avid golfer, loved his sports and most of all his family. He will be greatly missed in the community.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday September 26, 2021 from 2pm – 4pm at 227 Tecumseh Cres, Oakville, ON.   Come share a story.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Ian Anderson House would be greatly appreciated.
