After a long illness, Ian passed away peacefully on June 13, 2015. Born in Sarnia on September 13, 1949, Ian was a long time resident of Oakville. Predeceased by his parents, Bob and Joan Galloway. Survived by his brothers Peter (Karen) and Rob (Donna-Lynn). Ian was loving uncle to Briar (Penny) and Jamie (Andrea), and great-uncle to Patrick, Samuel, Graeme and Lucas. Fondly remembered by step-mother Irene and her daughter Terry. Ian's good nature will be missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the ACT Team for their kindness and the support they consistently gave Ian and to the staff at OTMH for their care of Ian over the last few months. A private family service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
