Ian Sydney Dutton On Wednesday February 2, 2022 after a long journey with the cruel disease of dementia, Ian is free. Fly free, dear Ian. Enjoy again feeding the birds and working in your garden! Born Sept. 1, 1950 in Montreal to parents Sydney and Moyra (both deceased).Beloved husband of Marlene.  Father of Benjamin (deceased in infancy), Daniel (Patricia), and Jessica.  Grandfather of Jacob, Brother of Jen (Alan), David (Chris) and Robert.  He will be remembered by several nieces and nephews. He was well loved by many.  He had life-long friends from the West Island of Montreal where he grew up.  His friends and neighbours in Oakville, Ontario were instrumental in advocating and supporting the creation of the "Ian Dutton Walk" in 2015.  For years, he walked his dogs along this trail, spreading the seeds from the flowers in his garden.  The abundance of Forget-Me-Nots which are there today is a testament to these nature walks. His greatest pride and joy were his children.  He was a devoted and involved father to Daniel and Jessica. Cremation has taken place.  Private burial to take place at a later date.
