Peacefully on Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Credit Valley Hospital, in his 70th year. Loving husband of 49 years to Nancy (Myers). Devoted father to Bradley and his wife Catherine, Daryl and his wife Helen, Janet and her husband Jonathan Hayes, Brenda and her husband Lorne Martin, and Wendy. A special Grandpa to Andrea, Dylan, Brian, Theresa, Darcy, Alannah, Eric, Emily, Thomas, Shelby and Caroline. Survived by his brother John Storey and his sister Margaret Sutherland.
Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2007. A service of thanksgiving to celebrate the life of Hugh will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, November 5th at The Church of The Epiphany, 141 Bronte Road, Oakville with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in Hugh's memory may be made to the Church of The Epiphany, General Fund and to the 2C Oncology Department at Credit Valley Hospital.
