Peacefully in his 76 ^th year at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 17 ^th , 2015. Dad, HUGE and Grandad, Friend, Coach and Santa Claus, son of George and Joan. Always loved and remembered by his wife Heather, children Scott and Bob, Jonathan and Gillian, daughters-in-law Susan and Tracy, son-in-law Gordon, grandchildren Taryn, Robin , Ruby, Charlie and Evan and sister Joanne and brother-in-law Chris and their family. Hugh was a beloved and active volunteer as a hockey coach and at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital. A proud member of Albert's Hall, St Judes Church, Green Lake Fishing Crew, Ile- Aux- Oies Goose Photography Association, The Marmon Group, The Oakville Club, Nova Scotia Beach Walkers Local 243, and the Oakville Association for the Preservation of All-You-Can-Eat Lobster Night. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, August 23 ,2015. Memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Kopriva Taylor Chapel. For those who wish, memorial donations to the St. Jude's Anglican Church Memorial Fund or to the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
