Forever in Our Hearts…Forever Loved
With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Howard Frank Taylor on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the age of 66. A longtime resident of Oakville, he now resides peacefully in heaven alongside his parents, George and Ella Taylor.
Howard will be forever missed by his wife, Bev and his daughter Krista (Morgan) and his brother Bruce (Sandi), mother-in-law Marie, sister-in-law Deb (Tony), brother-in-law Dan as well as five nieces {Melody (Brittany), Beth (Justin), Heather, Trish and Amanda} and fifteen great-nieces and nephews.
Howard had a 39 year career with Canada Post and attended the Oakville Salvation Army where he was active with the Men's Breakfast and played many years with the Oakville Salvation Army Band. Friends and neighbours knew Howard as an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Bluejays and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and always counted on his ever present sense of humour.
A Celebration of Howard's Life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11am at the Salvation Army Oakville Community Church ( 1225 Rebecca St., Oakville, ON L6L 1Z1 ).
At the request of the family, mask wearing is encouraged and appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations in Howard's memory may be made to either the Salvation Army Oakville Community Church or the Oakville Salvation Army Band.
