It is with pain and sorrow and with deep love that we had to say goodbye to a loving husband and dear father.
Howard was called to the bar in 1979. He soon settled into a partnership with the law firm Hutchison, Thompson, Henderson & Mott. Over the 40 years of his successful business and land development practice in the Halton area he grew deep and rich roots as the community began to grow.
He was known as a lawyer who got things done, always. You could count on him. He always found the best resolution in the spirit of complete fairness. His attention to detail never wavered. If you were near to his family, if you were a friend or a close colleague, you knew Howard most for his ability to always take the high road. He always straightened the crooked path. He took good care of people. He saw the lighter things around him and ignored the darkness. He was real. It was him.

A service in his honour is being held at Church of the Incarnation in Oakville on Monday, June 13th at 6pm with a light reception to follow.
