Journeyed peacefully home to God in her 84th year, on Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Hermina was a devoted and loving wife to Gabor for 65 years. Born in Mezokeresztes, Hungary on April 17, 1927. Greatly missed by son Frank, daughter Elizabeth and her husband Steve. Survived by her loving brother Julius, grandchildren Monica, Stephanie and her husband Dan and Great Grandson Michael Steven. Predeceased by her sister Elizabeth.
Shared her love for nature with her loving husband and took pride and enjoyed her beautiful garden. Her many hobbies included gardening, cooking and being an avid antique collector. She was dedicated in her earlier years to the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church Couples Club and later served many years with the Ladies League at St. Dominic Parish. Hermina was a faithful servant to the Lord throughout her life. We will all remember her lively and generous spirit and her infectious beautiful smile. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for their kind, compassionate care during her stay. Prayer vigil and visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (One block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) Oakville on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Celebration of her life will be at Saint Dominic Parish, 2415 Rebecca St., Oakville, at 10:00 a.m. Friday February 11, 2011. Interment at St. Jude's Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at St. Dominic Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
