Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Simone (née Tanguay). Cherished father of Michelle and her husband Don Ladouceur, Pierrette and her husband Yvan Courtemanche, Joanne and her husband Daniel Courtemanche, and Claude and his wife Lesley. Predeceased by daughter Pierrette. Loved grandfather of Louanne (Gordon), Jamie (Anette), Tammy (Yves Payette), Tracy, Jennifer (Drew Cameron), Shawn (Daniella), Jason (Chelsey), Eric (Amber), Jesse, Kelli and Christopher. Great grandfather of Paige, Leif, Donnie, Summer, Hannah, Ayden, Lucas, Ethan, Carter, Emma and Stella. Survived by sister Marie-Berthe, Claudette and Jacqueline. Will be sadly missed by other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr 905-844-2600) Oakville, from 7-9pm on Friday and 11-1:30pm Saturday. Funeral Mass at 2pm Saturday, March 18, 2017 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville. Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
