Passed away peacefully at Oakville-Trafalgar Memoral Hospital on Thursday, November 16 ^th , 2017 at the age of 96. She was the eldest daughter of George and Margaret Smith (deceased). Beloved wife of Rodolph Jean Stalport (deceased) and mother of Lorna O'Hearn (George), Neil Stalport (Thelma) and Darlene Clarke (Paul). Grandmother to Karen O'Hearn (Kevin Bruce), Kimberlee O'Hearn (Stefan Rodde), Jordan Clarke and Megan Clarke. Great grandmother to Maya O'Hearn Rodde. Older sister to Mildred White (deceased) and Joyce Moore. Helen lived a long and happy life. She was devoted to her family and friends. Helen and Rod loved spending time at their cottage near Kinmount, Ontario for many years. Helen spent most of her life creating fabric art and teaching the craft of sewing. She enjoyed her last seventeen years living at the Queens Avenue Retirement Residence in Oakville and was active in their community.

Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr 905-844-2600), Oakville from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017. Funeral will be held in the chapel of the Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment at Glen Oaks Cemetery followed by a reception at the Queens Avenue Retirement Residence.
