It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Heather Claire Litchfield on July 17, 2021 at home surrounded by her family and closest childhood friend Debby (Haig) Thomlinson at the age of 67.  Beloved daughter of Kathleen (Hare) and the late Maurice Litchfield, deceased Nov 2006.  She is survived by her brother Darryl and his wife Heather (Small), her sisters Glenis and her husband Bryan Peddle, and Frances and her husband Ed Ziesmann. She was loved by all who met her and will be especially missed by her nephews and nieces. Heather lived her whole life in Oakville and enjoyed the simplest things in life. She enjoyed babysitting and caring for her nieces and nephews, and working at the local nursery school. Her life revolved around her beloved cat Bandit and enjoying special moments and accomplishments of her family and friends. She was loved dearly by all her friends and neighbours.

There will be visitation on Tuesday July 20, 2021 at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore West, Oakville, from 7 to 9 pm and a private family funeral service for immediate family on Wednesday July 21.  Donations in Heather's memory can be made to Community Living Oakville or Canadian Cancer Society .
