Harry Vanzutven died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 21st, 2015. He was 80 years old. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Rita (nee Simons), and was the treasured father to his daughter, Tina McConnell, son-in-law Brian, and granddaughters Laura and Rachel. He is predeceased by his daughter, Teresa, sisters Mary Donkers (Frank), and Annie Vanzutven. Fun, kind, gentle, and lovingly remembered uncle and brother-in-law to so many in both the Donkers and Simons families. Forever the music lover, he will be fondly remembered by so many for his DJing at parties, singing, yodeling, whistling and playing guitar around the campfire, and by the parish of St. James Catholic Church in Oakville, in which he was an active choir member and soloist for over 40 years. He will be sorely missed. Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation 2-4 pm or 7-9 pm Sunday, January 25th at Kopriva –Taylor, 64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON. His funeral will be at St. James Catholic Church, 231 Morden Road, Oakville, on Monday, January 26th at 10 am.
