Passed away at the age of 69 at his home in Oakville on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Born in Toronto, Ontario on December 9, 1940 to the late Thelma and Fred Green of Tobermory, Ontario. Predeceased by his infant son Joseph "Joey" Green and sister Audrey Rankin. Butch is survived by his children Tammie Kloosterboer and Trevor Green and his brothers Ronald Green and James Rankin (Green). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Butch was a long-time employee of Cummins International. Touching many people in his life time, Butch will be always remembered for his love of family and friends. His dedication to those he held closest to his heart, and for his willingness to put other's needs above his own. Family will received visitors at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 in the Kopriva Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Dunk's Bay Cemetery in Tobermory, Ontario at 1:00 p.m. A small graveside ceremony will be held. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by his family.
