Obituary

Peacefully in her bed on July 1, 2022, in her cherished home, Hannelore passed away in her 96 ^th year. Beloved wife of the late James Hewitt, Hannelore will now join the love of her life. Theirs was a love affair for the ages.

Hannelore will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews in Canada, the United States, and Germany and by her many friends in the Oakville community.

Hannelore loved her Oakville home on the lake. She was an active participant in the bridge and book clubs and choir. She was a former operator of the Granary antique market. Hannelore was a proud supporter of the arts and young artists.

The family would like to thank her caregiver Annette Harrison for her many years of support.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday July 8 in the chapel of the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K 1E1.
