Surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with cancer, Guglielmo passed away on April 25, 2012 in his 77th year. He will be greatly missed by Giustina, his beloved wife of 53 years and his sons Frank (Rosanne), Angelo and Rob (Fiona). Guglielmo was the much loved Nonno Bello to Christopher, Austin, Madison and Alexandra who will miss "Nonno Claus", "Nonno-knapping" and asking "why you late?". Guglielmo is survived by his brothers and sisters Angelina (the late Michael), Vito (Francesca), Pasqualina, Assunta and Nick (Elisa). He was the dear brother-in-law to the late Ercole (Maria), Peter (Lina), and the late Domenic (Mary Anne). His many nieces and nephews will miss their Zio (Uncle "Willy") as well as his friends from "the office". Guglielmo was a wonderful, caring family man who took pleasure in the simple things: eating "saugeech" right off the BBQ, tending his beautiful gardens, making his own prosciutto, drinking vino and taking a "coffee break". A special thank you to all of the caring staff at Credit Valley Hospital and the nurses of St. Elizabeth's. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905 844-2600) on Thursday from 7-9pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday April 28, 2012 10 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 231 Morden Road, Oakville. Entombment to follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, Oakville.
