Passed away peacefully at home on Friday October 12, 2007. Guelda Newman, beloved wife of the late Bud Newman. Dear mother of Chuck and his wife Vera, Shirley and her husband Ted Davies and Joan and her husband Bob Hunter. Sister of Don Ogden and his wife Lillian, Jim Ogden and his wife Hilda, Theresa McCanna, Joan Jenkinson and Gladys and Dick Hill. Lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday October 17, 2007 in the chapel of the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) with visitation one hour prior to service. The family would like to thank Dr. Jacobson, CCAC for compassionate care.
