William "Graham" was born on August 16, 1983, and died September 10, 2007 at 4:11 p.m. in Kingston, Ontario while riding his bike around Queen's University on a lovely September day. Our beloved son Graham and only brother of Heather suffered an unexpected but catastrophic brain aneurysm. Considerate as always, he lingered long enough for us to kiss him farewell. He will be terribly missed by his family, his many friends, his beloved Queen's, his co-workers at Chapters and Tiger. His parents, Allen and Bev Kennedy (nee: Smith), his dear and only sister Heather Louise Kennedy are devastated, as are his grandparents: Ray Smith and Alice Kennedy, his aunts and uncles: Sharon Kennedy, Bruce and Donna Kennedy, Shawn Smith and cousin Allison Kennedy. Graham was a graduate of T.A. Blakelock where he received top honours and a student at Queen's University at the time of his death. We thank Queen's University for embracing Graham as their son and the staff at Kingston General Hospital for their loving care. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 7-9 p.m. Friday and 3-5 p.m. Saturday. A Funeral Service to celebrate Graham's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the Church of the Incarnation, 1240 Old Abbey Lane, Oakville. Cremation to follow. No flowers please. Family and friends are welcome to make a donation to a fund in Graham's name at Queen's University, Office of Advancement, Summerhill, Queen's University, Kingston, ON K7L 3N6. Graham, you will be missed terribly, but never forgotten. You will continue to live on through your organ donations and through the Graham Kennedy Memorial Fund and in our love, Mom, Dad and Heather.
