Gordon Phinn died peacefully at the Ian Anderson House following a short period in the hospital for cancer of the bile duct. He was born on October 28, 1952, in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Canada at the age of 15.

He was a devoted husband to Cynthia for a glorious but short 6 years. He will be remembered by his sister Maureen, niece Karen (Joe), niece Sue (Darin), nephew Mike (Janet), family members still residing in Scotland, and many devoted friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday April 11, 2026 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) starting with visitation at 2:00 pm, speakers at 3:00, with reception to follow.
