Gordon Jones passed away peacefully on January 9, 2021, at the age of 90 years, at Waterford Long Term Care, Oakville, Ontario.

Devoted Husband of 67 years to Beryl Jones. Loving Father of Helen(Jim) Douglas(Lisa) Ian( Karen).

Loving Grandfather of Teresa(Steven) Erin(Ryan) Cheryl(Curtis) Monique(Taylor) Mike(Catalina) and Six Great Grandchildren.

Born in Lincoln, England in 1931 and received University Degrees at Birmingham University, England and a graduate MBA Degree at McMaster University, Canada.

He was a flying officer with the Royal Air Force. Worked at Beatties Department Store, England, Sears Canada, Sheridan College, Oakville Ontario.

In 1957 as a young landed immigrant to Canada, Gordon contracted and overcame a vicious attack by the Polio virus. Gordon's illness and subsequent management of Post-Polio syndrome did not stop him from helping to provide for and support his family; becoming a successful businessman and college marketing professor.

Gordon was a soccer enthusiast, enjoyed oil painting and listening to Classical orchestra music.
