Gladys G. Turnbull

April 29, 1934 – October 2, 2021

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of our dear Mum and Nanny in her 87 ^th year.  She will be remembered mostly for her deep love, and devotion to her family, along with her kindness, gentle demeanor, compassion for others, and sense of humour.

Her dedication to her family built the foundation of the strong, extraordinary bond her six children share, which we are all very grateful for.  Mum absolutely adored children, and was regularly involved in caring for her nine grandchildren at any opportunity she was given.  She would often be found cheering on her grandkids at hockey games, soccer fields, dance competitions and bowling allies, always loving every minute of it.  She also had a very strong connection with our Hulme and Purdom family roots in England, sharing many laughs over the years.

Although she battled the last decade with Dementia, we all will always cherish the very special memories she gave us,   and she will be forever loved and missed by all her children Debbie (Dave), Steve, Wayne (Tammy), Tracy (Nigel), Shane (Tammy), and Brett, along with her treasured grandchildren, Christa, Dana, Mackenzie, Sydney, Sheridan, Ayden, Hunter, Jaime, and Paige, and our Father/Grandad, Brian.

A special Thank You to the dedicated team at Wellington Park Care Centre, who helped improve Mum's quality of life for her final years.

There will be a small family gathering to celebrate her life, where we will reflect on many fond memories, and have lots of laughs remembering our beloved Hag xo.
