It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beautiful Pina on Monday February 28, 2022. Peacefully, with her daughters by her side at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 90.  Pina is predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Michele (Mike) 2008.
Cherished and devoted Mom to Grace (Andres), and Diana.

She will be missed, and lovingly remembered by her family, many nieces and nephews, in Canada, the U.S., and Italy.

Pina was born in Toritto, Bari, Italy. The second youngest of eight children to Giuseppe Raguseo and Damiana Camastra.  From an early age, she always forged her own path with tenacity, determination and love.  She left Italy, leaving her family, and taking the solo voyage across the Atlantic by ship to arrive in Canada, where she later married her beloved husband Mike, and created a family.

Pina always had this ability to shine bright, with a kind, and generous soul.  She projected her light to all that were around her.  Her warm nature to always see the good in everything, and forget about the bad is what she expressed to those around her.

Very talented in her creative culinary skills which contributed to the countless family and friend gatherings filled with love, laughter, delicious cuisine, and libations.   Pina was in her element, when surrounded by loved ones, and sharing in conversations.

She will live on in the hearts of everyone she met.

The family would like to extend a "very special" thank you to Dr. C. Petrea, and the staff at OTMH on 5 South.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in memory.

Visitation will take place Friday March 4th 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street)  A Funeral Mass will take place Saturday March 5th 2022 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 231 Morden Rd. at 11 am.  Entombment at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens.
