We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Giuseppe "Joe" Della Penna. Survived by his loving wife, Giovanna, daughter Mirella, sons, Frank (and wife Shari) and Bruno (and wife Evelyn), grandchildren Rochelle and Claire. Also his sister Antonetta, brother Amedeo,
predeceased by his sister Ana and his brother Antonio. He will be sadly missed by many family members and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Oakville on Monday, August 27, 2012 with entombment held at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, Oakville in peace. As one of the first Canadian immigrants from his town in Italy, he paved the road for his family and relatives and planted the seeds for tomorrow.
