It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, Nonno, and cherished Bisnonno.

Born in Montaperto, Italy, in 1928, Giuseppe passed away peacefully on the morning of September 20, 2026, in his 99th year.

Giuseppe leaves behind precious memories, a lifetime of love and laughter, and a family legacy that will forever carry his love, humour, strength, knowledge, and the many lessons he taught.

Giuseppe was the beloved husband of Maria, with whom he shared 73 wonderful years of marriage, and loving father of Agostino and his wife Maria, and Assunta and her husband Joseph Colonna.

Devoted Nonno of Maria (Aaron Logar), Joey, Raffael, and Marie-Loren, and Bisnonno of Alexander and Amelia.

Dear brother of Carmelo (the late Giuseppina), and brother-in-law of Giuseppina (the late Vittorio), Carmela (the late Calogero), the late Pasquale (Maria), and Antonietta (the late Elia).

Predeceased by his siblings Filippo (Armida), Calogero (Calogera), Salvatore (Carmela), Giovanni (Anna), and Lorenza, and his sister-in-law Grazia (Salvatore).

He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends in Canada, Italy, and Belgium.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street)

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Saint Matthew Roman Catholic Church, 1150 Nottinghill Gate, Oakville.

Entombment will follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens.
