Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side. Gilberto, beloved husband of the late Ann Laird Silveira. Loving father of Tony (Elaine) and Jim (Paula). Brother of Maria Dutra, and Edwina Escobar (Jose). Adored grandpa of Caitlin, Michaela, Janeen and Tylor. Visitation was held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West, Oakville, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600)Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2008 at St. Joseph's Portuguese Roman Catholic Church, 2451 Bronte Road, Oakville. Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
