Died peacefully in her 93rd year on March 30, 2011 at Northridge Long Term Care Centre. Beloved wife of the late Leander (1985). Cherished mother of Ann Pearl Shore (Morton) of Oakville. Adored grandmother of Alan. Lovingly remembered by sisters Ruth, Letha, Barbara, Carol and brothers Harry and Joseph. Predeceased by sister Lorette and brothers Gordon, Roy and Carl. Gertrude was a life member of the CWL and long time volunteer for the Red Cross. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church, 2745 North Ridge Trail, Oakville (905-337-2184) on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment in Beaconsfield, Quebec at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
