Born in Hamburg, Germany on March 15, 1917. At age 70, following a 40-year career as a doctor, Gertrud made the courageous decision to move to Canada to be closer to her immediate family. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 7 at age 95. Predeceased by her husband Rolf Moeller. Survived by her son, Klaus, daughter-in-law, Teres, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous cherished friends, both in Europe and in Canada. She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905 844-2600) on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 10 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in the Kopriva Chapel. Interment St. Jude's Cemetery, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations to Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) would be appreciated.
