Peacefully in his sleep on Friday April 29, 2011 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Gerard, beloved husband of Henny. Loved father of Jerry and his wife Deborah, Raymond and his wife Kathryn and Michael and his wife Zuzanna. Dear grandfather of Gerrit, David, Nicholas and Joshua. Dear brother of Hank, John, Anna-Marie, Wim and the late Huub. Immigrated to Canada in 1953 after serving with the Dutch Army in Indonesia. Resident of Oakville since 1957. Active in the Dutch Veterans Association. Visitation was held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Monday from 7-9 pm. Private Family Service.
