Obituary

At Mississauga,ON – Geraldine (Geri) LeBlanc passed away on May 5, 2007 at the age of 87 years after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Marie (Brideau) Murdoch. Loving wife to the late Lelice LeBlanc, she is survived by daughter Joanne of Lachine; son André of Oakville; son-in-law Patrice (Morin); daughter-in-law Marianne (Thompson); grand-children, Philippe, Vincent, Stefan and Cassaundra; sisters Edna Donahoe of Oakville and Gertrude Hachey of Moncton; brother Dr. Fred (Margaret) Murdoch of Fredericton; sisters-in-law Jeannette Steeves of Moncton, Mary Ann Murdoch of Omaha, Nebraska, Janine Murdoch of Salmon Arm, BC, Jean Murdoch of Halifax ; brothers-in-law Alex LeBlanc and Frank Fagan, both of Moncton. She will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Dr. Albert, James, Patrick and Thomas; sister Katherine Fagan; brothers-in-law Richard Donahoe and Elton (Ike) Steeves; and sister-in-law Rita LeBlanc. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville, ON, on Friday, May 25th, 2007 between 7 and 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 11am at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 409 Markland Drive, Etobicoke, ON. In Geri's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
