Geraldine Ivy Drodge, born on Bell Island, Newfoundland on October 17, 1945, passed peacefully away at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on September 11, 2021 at the age of 75.  Dearly loved and missed by her beloved husband of 57 years, Henry Joseph Drodge, her loving daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Drodge Davis and George Gregory Davis, and her cherished granddaughters, Julia Geraldine Davis and Faith Victoria Davis.  Predeceased by her parents, Clarence Victor Harding and Marion (Byrnes) Harding, her brother, Ronald (Theresa) Harding, and her sister-in-law, Daphne (Drodge) Dawe.  She will be dearly missed by her brother, Clarence (Sheila) Harding (Jr.), her brothers-in-law, Gerry (Marie) Drodge, Leo (Cynthia) Drodge, Brian (Beverley) Drodge and Bud Dawe, and her best friends of 40 years, Debbie and Duane Hodson.  Special thanks to the incredible hospital staff at OTMH and to the team of health care professionals who took such special care of Geraldine for the over 26 years she lived in Oakville, Ontario, especially Dr. Sarah St. James, Dr. Jan Orfi, Dr.  Daniel Sapir, Dr. Thomas Lindsay, Dr. Jayesh Patel, Dr. Robert Cusimano and the staff at Sobey's Pharmacy, especially Marafat and Austin.  Funeral service for family and close friends by request to be held at 11 am on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W, Oakville, with interment to follow at St. Jude's cemetery, 258 Lakeshore Rd. W.  A selfless, sweet, generous and gentle soul, Geraldine was loved by all who knew her.  Her death will leave a void in our hearts that we can only attempt to fill with the warm and loving memories of her life.  May she rest in well-deserved and everlasting peace.
