Peacefully on Friday September 23, 2022 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with his daughters by his side. Beloved and loving husband of Win (Deceased July 15, 2012), father of Dianne and Byron; Bill and Marlene; Sheila; Ian; David and Alice; Gerry Jr. and Tammy, grandfather of Rebecca, Jessica and Andrew Madrid; Mieka and Sonja Theil; Matthew and Jason Keay; Sara Rinehart and Joey Letarte; Deanna, Abigail, James David (JD) and Ashlynn Keay; great grandfather of Sophia Letarte, and loving brother of Ronald Keay (Deceased April 3, 1999).

Gerry was dedicated and loved in all he did as an educator, coach, volunteer, and sports enthusiast, but above all as husband to Win, the love of his life, and as a father, family member, and friend to so many.

A Celebration of Life is being held at the Burloak Canoe Club at 160 Water St, Oakville, Ontario on Sunday October 23rd between the hours of 1pm and 5pm.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at OTMH for the exceptional care and support they provided not only to Gerry but to our entire family.
