We invite you to remember the joy, laughter and love that Gerald Patrick Healey brought to all who knew him. Gerald was born March 7th, 1944 on Bell Island, Newfoundland to loving parents Clarissa (Pearson) and William Fergus Healey. He arrived at Toronto's Union Station in 1964, where, as, he would always say, 'my journey began'. Gerald met and fell in love with Marylin Ann (Morton). They were soon married on November 22, 1975. Gerald and Marylin danced, bonded over British television and enjoyed deep conversation for 46 years. Their love saw the birth of three children: John Patrick (Kristine), Erin Ann (Keith Corkum) and Devon Kathryn (Nate Bitton). Gerald profoundly enjoyed his children and being a father. He filled their days with laughter, stories and song. To Gerald's delight, his family grew to welcome five grandchildren: Kathryn, Kara, Liam, Patrick and Sean. Gerald was a wise, witty, kind and gentle soul. His journey culminated on April 18th, 2022. Gerald's life is an example of how to genuinely engage with others and see the beauty in everyday life.
