Called to the Lord suddenly on Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in his 89th year. Gerry, beloved husband of Terry for 61 years. Will be dearly missed by his children Sean and his wife Grace, Robin, Daintry, Donna and her husband Brian McLaughlin. Adored "Poppy" to Andrew, Meghan, Colin, Scott, Patrick, Matthew and Kaitlyn. Gerry is predeceased by his siblings Eddy, Tom, Doreen, Rita and Bernice. Gerry was a lifetime employee of Imperial Oil. Visitation will be held Thursday September 6, 2012 from 7-9 pm at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905 844-2600). Funeral mass will take place 10 am Friday, September 7, 2012 at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church (2415 Rebecca St., Oakville). Cremation to be held on Saturday.
