It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George in his 73rd year on January 6, 2013. George battled cancer with the bravado and courageousness that we have come to expect along with every witticism in his arsenal. George leaves behind to mourn him, his four children, Laura (Ron Taylor-predeceased Nov. 2012), Jennifer (a.k.a. Faith), Chris and Tim. He will be sadly missed by his three grandchildren, Steven, Olivia and Carrie-Lyn Taylor. George will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Norma Hager (Lee) and Carole MacKenzie (Art) and their families. George was an employee of Bell Canada for 33 years with many accomplishments. Many thanks to all of George's nurses and PSWs especially Diane and Glenann. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905-844-2600) Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 in the Kopriva Chapel. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ian Anderson House would be very much appreciated.
