Passed away peacefully on Sunday May 13, 2007 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in her 93rd year, after a lengthy illness. Loving wife of the late James Dudley Doherty (1982), and loved mother to James Doherty Jr. and his wife Dolores. She also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Thomas James Doherty and Robert Francis Doherty. Genevra had a wonderful and full life and now will join her beloved husband for eternal peace. "Have a safe journey Mom". A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Tuesday May 15, 2007 at 11am with visitation one hour prior. Cremation.
