We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Gedeon Oklobdzija on April 22, 2024. Gedeon passed away surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Milka, father to Jovan (Paula), proud Dedo to Hayley, Connor and Riley. He will also be dearly missed by his sisters Ljubica (Oscar) and Gina, his nephews Daniel (Lisa) and Saša (Dragana), great nephew Geno, along with extended family and friends in Canada, Serbia, Bosnia, Australia and USA.

Gedeon (our funny guy), will be remembered by his big smile, kind heart and sweet gentle soul.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 30, 2024 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday May 1, 2024 at Sts. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, 1039 Dundas Street West, Oakville at 11 am.  Interment at St. Volodymyr  Cemetery.  Reception at the church hall to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gedeon will be graciously accepted by the Canadian Cancer Society .
