It is with complete and overwhelming sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gary Wayne Thompson on April 5 ^th , 2020.

Gary was the beloved husband of Michele and loving father of Jeffrey, Jaclyn and Jennifer. Gary never failed to make us laugh and always wore his heart on his sleeve. He had an impact on every single person he met and was adored by so many. Our lives will never be the same without him.

Born on December 15, 1963 in Mississauga, Gary recently retired from the City of Mississauga after over 30 years of service. He spent his last few weeks of life on vacation with his loving wife and wonderful friends. Gary enjoyed travelling and spending time in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with his brother and sister-in-law. Gary had a passion for music, vintage watches and speakers.

Gary was predeceased by his father (Don), mother (Muriel), brother (Larry), sister (Gail) and father-in-law (Graham White). He is survived by his wife, three children and his brother Terry (Maureen). Gary was the loving son-in-law of Pauline and brother-in-law to Anne (Steve), Tom (Iris), John and Monika. He was also the beloved uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family would like to invite all family and friends to a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation in honor of Gary would be greatly appreciated.
