Passed peacefully Thursday Sep 23rd at the age of 78.

Preceded in peace by his loving wife, Pauline.

Cherished brother of Jane (Michael) Burke and Robert (Carol) Cowell.

Loving Uncle of Tim Burke, Lauren (Dan) Bleho, Lia Cowell and Marc (Meena) Cowell. Great Uncle of Mackenzie, Hayley, Alexa, Rachel and Preston.

Fred will be fondly remembered by family, friends and former colleagues as one of the "good guys". Music was a lifelong passion and he loved to "jam" with his musical group . His international travels and life experiences were topics of conversation at many happy gatherings with family and friends.

His steady presence, thoughtful counsel, generous nature and good humour will remain with us always.
