Peacefully on October 31, 2010, a week before his 84th birthday and surrounded by his loving family. Beloved Husband of Maria, proud Father and Father-in-Law of Marianne (d. 2008) and Martin, Rob and Laurie, and Joan and Denis. Loving Opa of Natasza and David, Alex, Carly, Jenna, Shawna, and Mark. Adoring Great-Opa of little Ellia. Frank was a man of honest hard work, quiet strength, a kind heart and good humour. He was never happier than with a construction project on the go, the bigger the better. Frank loved big family dinners, the family cottage on Skeleton Lake and his and Maria's winter home in Pt. Charlotte, Florida. Frank was an expert gardener, learned from growing up on the family farm in Holland. Frank was a man of faith and he felt truly blessed. His wisdom and love have left their mark on us all. The family would like to extend special thanks to Ian Anderson House in Oakville who lovingly and expertly cared for Frank in his final weeks. W, Oakville, November 3 from 2 - 4 p.m. and from 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral mass celebrating Frank's life will be held November 4 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville.
