Peacefully on Saturday February 26, 2022 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with his family by his side after a courageous struggle with FTD, a form of dementia.  Frank, beloved husband of Gail.  Loving father of Gina (Jason Carriere) and Mathew (Stephanie) and Luca (Mary Wakeford).  Devoted Papa of Maya, Ella, Luke, Hudson and Nicholas. Dear brother of Margaret, Theresa, William, Peter, Clare and the late Michael.  He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends in here and in South Africa.  Frank had a passion for his family, rugby, the game of golf and was an avid sports enthusiast.  Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) on Thursday March 3, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Matthew Roman Catholic Church, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville on Friday March 4, 2022 at 1 pm.  The family wish to gratefully acknowledge the Adult Day programs at Acclaim Health, Burlington and Oakville, The Alzheimer Society, the Italian Club of Oakville and both the Emergency Department and Palliative Care Department of the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for their care and support of Frank.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Acclaim Health would be appreciated by Frank's family.
