Surrounded by love from his family and with tender nursing care, Frank passed peacefully from death to glory on March 20th at Chartwell Retirement Residence, Welland. Endeared to all, this gentle, loving soul will be greatly missed. Husband to the late Freda (nee Barrs), dear father to David (Peggy) and Glenn. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Annjanette (Tony DaSilva), Tiffany (Tyler Scott) and Paxton, and his great grandchildren Hayden, Delaney, Ryder and Hailey. Brother of Vera (Bruce Broughton) and Millie (the late Al Silver). Mother-in-law Lillian (the late Fred Barrs), Brother-in-law of Enid (Ed Love) and the late Winnie (the late George Williams). Uncle Frank will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews and his great-nieces and nephews. Frank worked at Goodyear (New Toronto, Owen Sound) until he retired. He played hockey with the Toronto Marlies, was an avid golfer and volunteered at the Canadian Open. He was an active person (Hiking Club), and benefited greatly from the Cardiac Rehab at the YMCA (Ottawa, Oakville, Welland). Frank was faithful to Christ to the end and active in Walton Memorial United Church. Friends are welcome to join the family at KOPRIVA TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 64 Lakeshore West, Oakville L6K 1E1 on Tuesday March 23, 7-9 pm, Wednesday March 24, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Frank's life will be held at WALTON MEMORIAL UNITED CHURCH, 2489 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville, on Thursday, March 25 at 11:00 am with reception to follow.
