Frances Mary Thompson (née Lummiss), 93, passed quickly, October 1, 2023 at Burloak Long-Term Care in Burlington, Ontario.  Frances (Fran, Franny, Franky, Frankinsense…) was loved by many; by her husband of 63 years Ian Thompson; by her children Pamela, Jocelyne Caissie (Raymond) and Hugh (Chantal Turcotte); by her grandchildren Hunter, Morgan, Nicholas, Ellis and Alden; and by countless family and friends who could always feel at ease and welcome in the light of Frances' warm smile, gentle voice and ever-present words of encouragement.  Frances was the youngest of four sisters, her beloved Emma, Joyce and Marguerite (Margie).  Heartfelt thanks for the tremendous care provided by the staff of Burloak, Triller House.  Donations to Covenant House (Toronto) are welcome.  Funeral Mass will take place on Friday October 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville.
