It is with sadness that the family of Frances Peters (nee Lovette) announces her passing away on January 21st 2013. Surrounded by her family, Frances drew her last breath and peacefully retired. We will miss her gentle spirit, her ready and radiant smile and her unconditional love. Predeceased by her husband Dennis and her granddaughter Julia. She is survived by her sister June Tyler and family, her sister-in-law Jean Lovette, her children David, Michael (Jean), Jennifer (Scott) and Susan (Stephen), her grandchildren Kate, Alasdair, Ben, Scott, Sean, Megan, and special note, Ashley and David and their families and many nieces and nephews. Frances lived a long and happy life. She knew the warmth of friendships, the camaraderie and appreciation of peers at the Mississauga Golf and Country Club, the Oakville Stitchery Guild, where she was honoured with an Above and Beyond Award, and the Oakville Historical Society over the years. Those who knew her and loved her will remember her bright outlook, her sense of fairness and her beautiful countenance. A memorial service will take place at 3:00 pm Sunday February 3, 2013 in the chapel of the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (905) 844-2600 with visitation one hour prior to service. A reception for those who wish to stay will follow.
