Frances May Cook was born January 22nd, 1929 and was called to be with God February 2nd, 2025. She was a double gift for her parents as she also had a twin brother Frank. Growing up in the midst of the depression was a difficult time but through family strength and values kept th family together. The family had it joys and also its sorrows as numerous other children were born Margaret, Mary, George, Ninian and Wilhemina junior always known as Minnie or often the 'mouse' for Mom Unfortunately Mary was called home to be with God very early and Ninian lived only into his teens. Both these children and the others brought much joy to Frank and Wilhemina. The family persevered and stayed close throughout their lives. My Mom met the love of her life Watson Cook shortly after the end of WW2 and they married in 1947 and were together every moment until our fathers death in 2001. They went on to raise three wonderful children Scott, Devon and Earle. Unfortunately, Devon was called home to god at 9yrs old. Frances and Watson remained a strong christians through out the subsequent years. It was in this spirit that she was always willing to assist those who were suffering or needed a hand up. Frances is the Grandmother of Stephanie, Jason, and Jordan and was made a Great Grandmother to Nolan, Owen, and Cole. Their Grand and Great Grandchildren were a source of joy and pride to Mom and Dad. Mom unfortunately was predeceased by the love of her life Watson, and subsequently by Frank, George, and Minnie as well as her grandson Jason and numerous valued friends and in laws who were good friends beyond their related marriages. Please celebrate with us , Mom being at Peace and with all those who have gone before.

Visitation will be held 11:30am - 12:30pm Monday February 10, 2025 at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home with Funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 12:30pm.
