Evelyn Jean Hunt (née Tierney) was born on February 22, 1940, in Hamilton, Ontario.

She passed away peacefully, with family by her bedside, at Joe Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario, on December 28, 2025.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Roger Hunt; her two sons, Jerry and Carl Hunt; and her brother, John Tierney.

Evelyn was a passionate teacher and taught both public school and English as a second language.

Evelyn will be dearly missed by all who knew her and were touched by her giving spirit and caring soul.

A private service will be held.
