Peacefully on Thursday June 10, 2021 at Ian Anderson House, Oakville at the age of 95.  Eve kept her sense of humour and smart wit with her until the day she passed.  Over the years Eve gave of her time as a volunteer with Seniors and Law Enforcement Together and the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, where she spent two days per week over the years cultivating many life-long friendships.  Eve always had a smile on her face and easily became fast friends with strangers.  Curling played an important part in Eve's life.  Both Eve and her late husband Hap were inducted in the Mohawk College Hall of Fame in 1992.  The Holmans enjoyed tremendous success and respect throughout the curling fraternity.  The Hap Holman Bonspiel stands as the College's most profiled Alumni event and reflects their dedication and involvement in curling.  Evelyn is survived by her nieces Nancy Rohan, Karen Benedikt, Barbara Olson, her sister in law Betty Olson and her goddaughter Pam Laverty.  Eve is predeceased by her parents, George and Anne Olson, her husband Neville "Hap" Holman, her brother Robert Olson and her sister Doreen McDowell.  We will miss you "Aunt Eve"…you are loved forever in our hearts!  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ian Anderson House .
